Nigerian Army SSCC 49/2026 Screening 2025 Centre
The Nigerian Army has assigned the Nigerian Defence Academy Ribadu Campus (Old Site), Kaduna State, Nigeria, as the official screening centre for all shortlisted candidates of the Short Service Combatant Commission (SSCC) Course 49/2026 recruitment.
Nigerian Army SSCC 49/2026 Screening Requirements
Shortlisted Candidates of the Nigerian Army SSCC 49/2026 will be required to present original copies alongside photocopies (2 each) of the following in a file jacket:
- All academic/professional certificates including testimonials, NYSC discharge or valid Exemption Certificate as applicable.
- A valid birth certificate as endorsed by the National Population Commission, hospital and Local Government Council of birth or valid age declaration.
- A valid certificate of state of origin.
- An Official Leave/Pass and Military Identity Card (for military personnel only).
- Letter of recommendation by Commanding Officers/Commanders (military personnel only).
- Printed Bank Verification Number (BVN) certificate authenticated by a bank and NIN slip/card.
- Completed copies of print outs from the SSCC portal including referee forms.
Candidates are to also bring along the following items:
- Writing materials.
- Three (3) pairs of blue shorts and 3 pairs of plain white short-sleeve T-shirts.
- A pair of white canvas shoes/trainers and 3 pairs of white socks.
- Bucket and toiletries.
- A set of cutleries including plates and drinking cups.
- Beddings which include; blankets, bedspreads and pillow cases etc.
- Four (4) copies of recent full-size colored photographs at standing position in suit and 4 recent colored passport photographs.
- A scratch cards for online confirmation of WAEC and/or NECO results.
- Candidates must come with a duly signed Letter of Consent from Parent/Guardian, declaring that they shall not claim any compensation or relief for any injury or death, which may occur in the course of the activities conducted by the Selection Board. The Letter of Consent is to be made at a recognized court of law and endorsed by the Commissioner of oath.
General Instructions for the Nigerian Army SSCC 49/2026 Screening 2025
Below are the general instructions/guidelines for the Short Service Combatant Commission (SSCC) screening exercise 2025:
- The selection/screening exercise will strictly involve documents (educational credentials) verifications alongside physical, medical and academic tests as well as interview session (oral interview).
- Candidates are to note that any alteration on their documents will render such documents invalid.
- Candidates will be accommodated and fed throughout the duration of the Selection Board.
- Candidates will be responsible for their transportation to and from the Selection Board.
- The use of personal/private vehicles by candidates is strictly prohibited throughout the duration of the Selection Board.
- Visitors will not be allowed throughout the duration of the Selection Board.
